Who doesn't love a good bad guy? I know I do. The WWE has plenty to offer in this department and I'm going to rank them 10 to 1. My opinion is based off what I see and what I have seen... let's roll into it...
Number 10: The Bludgeon Brothers
The monsters of the Smackdown Live tag division. Harper and Rowan, the Bludgeon Brothers. Maybe underrated in the Twitter universe, these men are monsters and their story is booked perfectly. Not much stands in the way of the mallet carrying barbarians, and not many have stopped them. (Pending Bludgeon Brothers vs New Day @ Summerslam.)
Number 9: Lars Sullivan
NXT hits the list for the 1st time here letting the crazy monster into the ranks. Lars comes off like a beast, not quite Braun style, but still a big heel.
Number 8: Carmella
The 1st woman comes in at 8th overall. This past year woman's wrestling has been on fire, and behind the wheel of the Smackdown brand comes the moonwalking, trash talking, princess of Staten Island... Carmella. Her mic work and (unpopular opinion) in ring work has came so far this past year that it's hard to leave her off this list.
Number 7: Shinsuke Nakamura
Since WrestleMania Shins heel turn has gave us some great moments and lots of ball shots. Shin has taken control over the heel turn and made it his own. A decent feud with AJ and his more recent work with Jeff Hardy, keeps us entertained. And his theme song change definitely helps.
Number 6: Elias
Who wants to walk with Elias!? Currently Elias is one of my favorites. He's got the heel walk and talk down. He can bring you from happy to mad in seconds. And we can't get enough guitar shots. All around Elias could be top heel in the WWE, but we still have a few others to go over don't we?
Number 5: Samoa Joe
Many might think Joe should be higher on this list. But I think 5th is a perfect spot for him. Joe is one of the best mic guys on the roster and with that comes some of the best smack talk. Joe could be a fantastic face, but no one wants that. We love heel Joe!
Number 4: Alexa Bliss
Top current heel in the womans division has to be 'Little Miss Bliss' herself. Since the womans revolution started Bliss has put herself at the top. Championship after Championship shes proven to be a power in the WWE. Best part is her attitude. Shes heel through and through. One of, if not the best on the mic when it comes to womans wrestling. Shes got it all, thus coming in at #4 on my list.
Number 3: Kevin Owen's
Hey, KO is KO. One of the best heels on the mic. Week in and week out KO turns heads with his antics and covers it up with great heel mic work. Owen's does get a pop but knows exactly how to shut it down. The past year KO and Shane's feud was one of my favorites and really made KO shine. And now the recent KO Braun feud is making Owen's work stand out. We love it!
Number 2: The Miz
To me, Miz has it all. He could easily be in the main event title picture and could, without a doubt, main event a PPV. Miz, for me, is the best mic guy in the WWE. From his script to his improv on the mic, he can deliver about anything in any fashion. And lets not forget his passion here, dude can let it all out. Miz is also a traditional heel, he chests to win. Unlike Joe, someone you never see that from, The Miz will do anything to win a match. This is why Miz is maybe my current favorite on the WWE roster.
Number 1: Tommaso Ciampa
I debated between Miz and Ciampa for a while, and to be honest, they are 2 totally different heels. They aren't even close. Ciampa has it all, from his entrance, which has no music and to me is completely genius, to his in ring work. Ciampa is a gold mine and HHH plays him perfectly. I look forward to seeing what happens down the line with Ciampa on the main roster. Potential feuds are endless. And imagine a heel Gargano by his side... it could be fantastic.
