I'm not going to bore you with a lot of gibberish about each match. But I'm going to give you a quick review of WrestleMania 34...
I'll give you a * rating (best would be *****) and a quick explanation if warranted. Here we go..
Men's Battle Royal: ** stars. I had to replay this match up, didn't see it live. I though it is what it is. Matt Hardy winning was something I didn't see happening, but the swerve with Wyatt helping him makes things interesting.
Alexander vs. Mustafa: ** 1/2 - I watched this on and off. Thought it did well when I was watching, but honestly can't give a true rating.
Women's Battle Royal: * 1/2 - I wasn't a fan, nothing about the match really did anything to excite me. Maybe other then Bayley tossing Sasha, that did make me happy.
Miz vs. Rollins vs. Balor: **** - This match was amazing. I thought the spots were fantastic. Although I wanted the Miz to retain, I'm ok with Rollins winning.
Charlotte vs. Asuka: *** 1/2 - I would give this a four star treatment, but the ending didn't do it for me. I'm not a fan of the streak, happy it's over, but having Asuka tapping so quickly didn't really settle well with me.
Fatal-4-Way: 1/2 - Terrible...
Smackdown Tag Titles: 1/2 - Terrible...
Rousey/Angle vs. McMahon/Triple H: *** 1/2 - Rhonda did better than I would have ever thought. She spent more time in the ring than I would have figured as well. Overall it was a great story told in the ring.
Cena vs. Undertaker: ** 1/2 - Very quick. I thought Undertaker looked great. But I was very surprised that it essentially was a squash match.
DB/McMahon vs. KO/Zayn: *** - This match wasn't terrible. The return of DB was magnificent and beautiful. I enjoyed watching him in the ring again.
Bliss vs. Jax: * 1/2 - Nothing really to brag about here. Glad Nia gets gets her chance, she'll most likely have Asuka next.
Styles vs. Nakamura: ** 1/2 - There definitely wasn't enough time for these two to do what they did at Wrestle Kingdom 10. The crowd started to get into the action about 3/4 of the way through and then, poof, it was over. Nakamura heel turn is going to be very interesting.
The Bar vs. Braun/??: * - Just wasn't what I wanted... Although I laughed really hard at that we've been trolled again. I just didn't want to see that BS.
Lesnar vs. Reigns: ** 1/2 - I fully expected Reigns to walk away with the title here. Very surprised that WWE swerved us. Overall, it was a typical Lesnar fight which honestly didn't surprise me. Will be curious to see what happens on RAW.
Overall, in my opinion, the show of shows started off hot and then ended rather cold. I think we need to shorten the length of Mania, but with the WWE network I don't ever see that happening.
I'll give WrestleMania 34 a *** 3/4 rating. Maybe too generous, but I did enjoy myself up until the Bliss/Jax match.
