So #WWE is going back to Saudi Arabia in November for WWE Crown Jewel. This is going to be such an epic event!
I'm just fucking with you. This event is going to blow. Basically WWE is going in for the money grab that Saudi Arabia offers. To me it's sickening. I didn't mind the Greatest Royal Rumble, but after all the backlash from just about everyone. Why the hell are you going back? The only cool thing that might, and I use might very loosely, come out of this is the Crown Jewel Tournament. But I don't have high hopes for it because... WWE Logic, it won't mean shit. I mean we're not talking about the G1 or Best of the Super Juniors (shout out to #NJPW).
I can honestly say I will not be watching Crown Jewel or will I watch the replay. Basically this show is going to be Hell In A Cell 2.0/Survivor Series Prequel. Plus, Brock Lesnar is receiving seven figures to wrestling at this show... seven figures, like a million plus. "But Jared, we possibly get to see DX vs. the Brothers of Destruction!" Ok, what's your point? I honestly don't care for that match and The Undertaker along with HBK are two of my all-time favorites.
I believe WWE is over doing it with all these "Network Specials" that have basically taken the spot of a Smackdown or RAW only PPV. Also, let's not get started on WWE Evolution, as it has been left in the dust and pretty much zero storyline has been put in place for that show. I expect that to be a complete shit-show as well (nothing against the ladies, it's only that there has been nothing done for them in regards to this PPV).
Maybe I'll be wrong, but we all know that there will be more backlash on this event and the last one. So we should probably strap in. Anyways, there is only one Crown Jewel that really matters and that is Chase Owens.
