On October 28th WWE makes history as they have their 1st ever ALL Women’s PPV.

What a time it is to be a female wrestling fanatic. After hearing the announcement that WWE will be holding their 1st ever ALL women’s PPV from Stephanie McMahon on Raw this past Monday night, I admittedly got excited for what’s to come. The WWE has a massive amount of time to do this PPV right! With over 50 women from past, present and future WWE could make an impact by taking this time to create meaningful storylines and possibly a tag team division.
Then...

Whenever there is talk about the history of women in wrestling, as a fan you can’t help but think trailblazers like Mae Young, Wendi Richter, Alundra Blaze, Sherri Martel, Trish Stratus and Lita. Wrestling Fact: December 6, 2004, Trish and Lita made history for the women's division as the two main events Monday Night Raw that night. Lita was victorious We were able to see these two during the 1st Ever ALL Women's Royal Rumble in 2017 and boy do they still got it! There’s no doubt these two women will take part in this significant event.
Some others I see making a comeback (either fight or just cameo) are Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool, Layla, Kelly Kelly, Ivory, Molly Holly, Eve Torres, Jacqueline, Victoria, Beth Phoenix, Nikki & Bri Bella. The list can go on folks.
The only storyline to build here is possible a Bella feud. Let’s not forget that Nikki did throw Bri out the ring at the 1st ever Women’s Royal Rumble last year. Bri could be coming back for her long-awaited revenge against her sister but let’s be real nobody wants to see that. Please spare us from “I wish you would’ve died in the womb” nonsense.
What would be meaningful? How about a substantial match between The Bellas vs. Trish and Lita? I know I’m not the only one that has thought of this before. It is one of the few women dream matches. For the most part, women’s tag matches are annoying and seem like they take to much time because there’s no real chemistry between the team itself. With the Bella’s, Trish and Lita in the ring, anything is possible.
Now..

Although this historic event is in October, we must first go through this heatwave called SummerSlam (see what I did there?). SummerSlam set to take place in Brooklyn at Barclays Center with Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship & Carmella vs. Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Let’s recap what’s going on with Raw right now before getting into Smackdown.
This Monday, July 30th on Raw Ronda Rousey will be coming back after her kayfabe suspension (because house shows don’t count). Although Nia Jax lost her rematch against Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules, this doesn’t stop this feud that is going on between them. With just a mere three weeks away from SummerSlam and I can see this match becoming a triple threat. Adding Nia to the card will only elevate this match in the best way possible. Nia can work well with both Bliss and Rousey. Putting Nia in this match will make everyone look strong. Let’s hope that Nia doesn’t become an afterthought.
Legit Huggers Sasha Banks & Bayley seems to be getting back being best friends, but more importantly, they are teaming up and winning matches! With the many great women WWE has, there no doubt that they are considering a Women’s Tag Team Division and yes it will only be a matter of time until the day comes. With hopes of decent women tag team matches, maybe we could get a tournament going for the 1st Ever Women's Tag Team Championships. One can only hope.
Mella is Money, and she is also our current Smackdown Live Women’s Champion! With Carmella beating Charlotte Flair and Asuka twice, there was room for a superstar to seize her opportunity and to secure her spot for a Title Match. That ladies and gentlemen that WWE Superstar is Becky Lynch and rightfully so if you ask me. She’s been having a dry run until very recently and it’s long overdue since she last had the title back on her waist. If Becky were to win, it will be a great comeback story for Lynch and will leave room for potential new feuds.
Ever since she lost at WrestleMania against Charlotte Flair, The Empress of Tomorrow Asuka, doesn’t seem that much of a threat anymore as she continues to lose matches against Carmella. Question is, where do we go from here with The Empress? With a few weeks to spare for SummerSlam and Charlotte coming back from surgery I don’t see why we wouldn’t have a rematch. Have Asuka win this round and build the story from there.
Forever..
